HeyMama is an online platform designed to educate and empower mothers about crucial early intervention topics. We understand the importance of early childhood development, and our mission is to provide you with the knowledge and resources you need to support your child's growth and well-being.
Charyl has a passion for education and a flair for the Arts. In 2010 Charyl moved to London and qualified as an Occupational Therapist by earning her MSc PgDip. While in the UK she was able to do a lot of cool things like: help develop workshop curriculums for the London Recovery College. Her workshops help parents and families learn techniques to understand and cope when raising a child diagnosed with a mental health issue. She also joined the Pears National Foundation For Autism's Tree House School where she worked as an OT for children with complex multi-diagnoses and autism. But it was only after having her own little one that Charyl became focused on the benefits of sensory work for babies, and founded Wunderkind Sensory. Her aim was to simply make the benefits of sensory work for babies more accessible to all via the use of technology. Wunderkind Sensory received attention in winning a Best New Product Award from London South Bank University as well as receiving funding and has been written about and included in professional trade publications such as OT News magazine.
